Bro. Lattimore Pearson was born in Rockford Illinois. He
was not raised in a very religious home, but he wanted to
serve the Lord. In 1979, he joined the US army, where he
became acquainted with a Baptist organization. He devoted
himself to various ministries.
After leaving the military and returning home, He again
became a part of the Baptist church where he later began
ministering. Soon thereafter, he saw that there had to be
more to serving God than what he was doing, so he began
seeking God for a better way.
In 1991, he came in contact with the truth. God blessed him
to repent, turn away from sin, and denounce his ministry. He
took a stand against false religion and stood with the true
people of God at 46th & Drexel. After approximately two
years, he felt led of God to preach and teach the gospel as
an associate minister under the leadership of Pastor Ricky
Dukes.
Bro. Lattimore has a burden for souls and serves in the
capacity of teaching the married couples Sunday school
class. His passion of cooking is also a blessing to the people
of God. Bro. Lattimore married Sis Gloria and they have two
daughters.
