Bro. Jeff Buford grew up in the Church of God and
rebelled consistently against the truth taught by his loving
mother, the late Sis Louise Buford. He eventually grew very
tired of his sin-filled life. He repented and gave his life to the
Lord on August 23, 1987. After a short while, he fell in love
and married Sis. Yvette Jackson in August 1990.
In the late 1980s, he felt the leading of the Lord concerning
the ministry. One scripture the Lord used to tug at his heart
was I Corinthians 1:7. After years of seeking divine
assurance of his calling, he received confirmation and
consolation in Colossians 1:25.
Bro. Jeff has been a godly example, living a life free from sin
before this congregation. |
