Its definitely the amount of fight in you that by the grace of almighty God, will help you to win the battle. The devil doesn't care how big we think we are. He's bigger than all of us humans. However the power of God is forever the greatest and when we see ourselves as small and unable to fight alone, God will put a fight in us that cannot be measured. It will endure and it will win every battle and challenge that comes our way. Amen. You've got me stirred up now. (smile)

It's the strength, drive, determination, confidence, love. . . inside of you that counts. Everything else is Perishable.

It speaks to me about the importance of realizing who you are and the strength you have. We don't all have the same talents, abilities and inner strengths, but that doesn't give any of us a "free pass" down the road of defeat. I agree with Cooper's response and I believe there needs to be a willingness in each of us to persevere. As God's people, we have a great privilege because our strength comes from Him (Philippians 4:13). No matter how tough the situation and how insurmountable the obstacle, don't give up!

Perseverance is what this quote means to me.
Perseverance is what this quote means to me.

It means that outward appearances mean absolutely nothing. What matters most is what's in your heart. Time will tell what is in us all.
